In this research project, I joined two amazing researchers from France and the US, Amir Sepehri and David Markowitz, to capture passive voice from different corpora for social and psychological evaluations of text. I essentially coded the entire algorithm and got inspiration, guidelines, and writing material from other two cool guys.
From the first time I heard about word embeddings, I was amazed by the possibilities this interpretation of words can bring! Together with statistical and semantical models, they can create an understanding, vision, and overall picture of whatever text you provide for the machine. In this project, I utilized these tools to analyze a book and feel its soul!
When I decided to move to Canada, I had one big problem. 🏠Accommodation. Where should I stay that's quiet, safe, and most importantly cheap 😄. After many attempts to find the perfect place, I got tired and decided to facilitate this process by creating an App that brings out the most suitable options for me.
I love French! But...
But I have to learn thousands of words' genders to say la voiture, le prof, or l'arbre!
So to learn them faster, I created an app that can help me practice these words,
provide examples, and celebrate whenever I get all of them right!
In this research project, we created several heuristic and semantic models (one of which is this fine-tuned model ) to help each other turn a simple text into poetic pieces of ancient literature! One small part of this project involved training a model from HuggingFace🤗 and filling masks with ancient Persian words! Github page .
A very brief view of charts and analysis I worked on at Fergas.
I love teaching and connecting with new minds! This passion to network and learn more myself, helped me form groups and hold sessions for people who are also interested in learning.
